Bringing a conclusive end to any speculation as to which document and email management system it would select, Linklaters has gone with iManage Work 10, meaning that all five of the magic circle firms now use iManage.
Linklaters is a Documentum customer and in 2016 selected NetDocuments email management solution Decisiv. The London-headquartered firm is known to have trialled both DMS systems and we’re told that the selection follows a rigorous process. iManage arguably appeared a more likely choice after 2019, when Linklaters implemented iManage RAVN to underpin its knowledge management system MatterExplorer and when iManage won Clifford Chance and Baker McKenzie as customers.

iManage says that tight integration with Microsoft technologies will ensure a seamless experience for Linklaters’ professionals as they navigate between iManage Work 10, Microsoft O365 and to exploit the collaboration opportunities presented by solutions like Microsoft Teams.

iManage partner Morae Global played a key role in the evaluation process and assisted with the orchestration and execution of Linklaters’ trial. The Morae Global team will now partner with iManage Professional Services to deliver the program that will transition Linklaters to the iManage platform.
