Legal workflow provider nQ Zebraworks today (7 July) announces the launch of its new Outlook integration for ScanQ and MailQ, providing access to digitized documents in Outlook but without clogging email inboxes with huge attachments.
Meeting attorneys and staff where they ‘live’, users receive a link via Outlook to access scanned documents. As a universal add-in, legal teams can access scanned documents on desktop and mobile devices.
nQzw says that while most attorneys and staff they speak to prefer receiving their physical mail as scanned documents in Outlook, that creates a thorny problem for IT departments who don’t want an influx of clogged email inboxes with large attachments. nQzw’s CEO Bill Bice, said: “Our MailQ users have always loved having the ability to view and manipulate scanned documents from within Queues, leveraging workflows to make it easy to profiles in the DMS. However, they have consistently expressed a preference for being able to view scanned files inside Outlook, where they do most of their everyday work.
“Now, they can view scanned documents without leaving Outlook, but still without clogging email inboxes. That’s why we are saying, ‘If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.’”
The Outlook add-in is universal, including supporting Outlook on mobile devices. It works in concert with nQzw’s mobile app, which enables users to capture documents via their mobile device. “One of our missions at nQzw is to automate processes and deliver key information to attorneys and staff when they need it, wherever they are,” said Bice. “Our new Outlook add-in and iOS app are designed specifically to enable legal professionals to work from anywhere.”
nQzw says that the Outlook add-in and iOS app also benefits firms’ efforts in terms of information governance and security, as no matter the viewer, the documents remain in a user’s Queue.
nQzw will be demonstrating both the add-in and the iOS app during an ILTA Product Briefing webinar on Wednesday, July 27th at 4:00 pm GMT. Save your spot: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/1616534949925/WN_-JcGE9k7TgSioaaDd7qYwg
