Barcelona-founded document automation and contract lifecycle management vendor Bigle Legal has become the first legal technology company to join the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the United Kingdom. The SCC’s primary role is to help with the development and promotion of commerce and investment between Spain and the United Kingdom. Its mission – and new association with Bigle Legal – is to help its corporate members modernise and adopt new technologies.
Bigle Legal is based in Barcelona, Madrid, and more recently London, where it launched in the autumn of 2021. The CLM company has clients and partners globally, including CBRE and Cuatrecasas, which is an investor. Last year Bigle Legal closed a €2m round of funding led by Adara Ventures with participation from ICF Venture Tech II . THCap and Cuatrecasas, which were already investors, participated in the round.
Bigle said at the time that the funding would fuel its international expansion drive, and expects that this latest association with the SCC will be a further opportunity to drive growth.
Sergio Esteve de Miguel, co-CEO of Bigle Legal, observed that the global contract lifecycle market is in increasing demand, commenting: “Studies indicate that its global size stood at $1.70 billion in 2021 and is expected to triple in the next five years.”
