London litigation boutique Candey has become the first publicly announced law firm to select SaaS practice and case management system Tessaract. It is replacing Partner for Windows, which is owned by Advanced.
Candey says that it sought to replace its legacy PMS as it lacked flexibility, which was creating operational challenges for the business, with time being wasted on manual tasks.
“We were impressed that Tessaract could cover so many bases for us and particularly liked the depth of functionality and flexibility of the accounting module. Equally impressive was the calibre of Tessaract’s people and the guidance and advice they offered during the selection process”, commented Ashkhan Candey, managing partner at Candey.
Tessaract was founded in Singapore in 2018 by Cherilyn Tan, who is also CEO of the Asia Law Network. Ben Mitchell, formerly VP of global commercial operations at DocsCorp, joined Tessaract as chief revenue officer in October 2022.
The SaaS workflow automation tool offers no-code/low-code process automation capabilities, client onboarding, conflict checking, and KYC/AML workflow. The company raised $3.3m in Pre-Series A funding led by Wavemaker Partners in August 2021.
