In this report, produced in partnership with Litera, we canvassed the views of legal IT leaders across the globe as to where they are in their cloud journey.

Huge leaps have been made when it comes to shifting to cloud-based collaboration technologies such as Microsoft Teams. But big questions remain over their provisioning, and cloud governance projects are at the top of IT teams’ lists of priorities.

These questions need to be answered quickly, as our research shows that Teams is now used by around two-thirds of law firms for both internal and external communication. In a recent survey we conducted on LinkedIn and have shared in this report, 28% of respondents from across the corporate and law firm world said that Teams has overtaken email as their primary method of communication.
