Consilio is rebranding its legacy US and UK Flex Talent Solutions businesses as Lawyers On Demand following its acquisition of the global alternative legal services business in September last year. SYKE, which LOD had a substantial investment in and was acquired as part of the same deal, will become part of Consilio’s advisory & transformation business, which assists with the design and implementation of strategic initiatives for legal and compliance teams.
“We have been building our legal talent capabilities for the last few years, but with the addition of the Lawyers On Demand team, our offerings are more robust and have a broader global reach,” said Robb Hern, SVP and divisional leader of enterprise legal services at Consilio.
Consilio’s legal secondments, managed teams, direct hire placements, and enterprise accounts teams will report to Lawyers On Demand. Lawyers On Demand remains an integrated part of Consilio
Alistair Maiden, former executive vice president and CEO of SYKE, is now global lead of advisory for Consilio. He said: “With our complementary geographies from the US to UK, South Africa, India, and South America, we have a best-of-breed and follow-the-sun advisory team that builds legal solutions with our clients and technology partners, shoulder to shoulder, to unlock the efficiency and opportunities needed to serve their clients and stakeholders.”
Consilio acquired LOD and SYKE to expand it enterprise legal services business across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australia as well as expand upon mutual presence in the US and UK.
