Washington-founded, AI-native eDiscovery platform BeagleTM has raised $3m in seed funding led by ML Capital and supported by other investors including Davidovs Venture Collective (DVC) fund and Hugging Face’s co-founder Thomas Wolf. This brings the total amount raised to $3.43m after the company raised $430,000 of pre-seed investments from two funds and several angels.
Currently in beta, Beagle says that it is actively serving customers and has already been used for high profile cases. The platform is backed by an experienced technical team with a diverse background in AI and machine learning across various industries. This is founder Sergey Demyanov’s second AI-driven company; his previous venture, Teleport Future Technologies, was acquired by Snap (Snapchat) in 2018.
Beagle is preparing for a broader commercial release later this quarter.
The Beagle team is at the Legalweek conference in New York, from January 30 to February 1. It will also be featured as a finalist in the Startup Pitch Competition at the ABA Techshow conference in Chicago, from February 14 to 16.
