In this product demonstration we take a look at knowledge management platform Tiger Eye Blueprint, speaking to Tiger Eye’s founder and managing director Dave Wilson and product manager Rob Taylor, who gave us a full demo of the new platform’s functionality.
Blueprint was initially built back in 2015 as a curation add-on for iManage, used by the likes of Irish firm William Fry and Al Tamimi & Co in the Middle East, among other law firms. It was designed with the help of law firms, which meant that Tiger Eye ended up with five different products that needed to be consolidated.
In 2023 Tiger Eye rebuilt Blueprint from the ground up to become a consolidated knowledge platform that is able to integrate multiple sources of data. Wilson said: “The previous version would work with the on-prem iManage and that was the only source that we would get knowledge from because that’s the core of what we do as a business. As people were moving to the cloud and various different instances of the cloud, they also wanted to adopt other platforms to store knowledge in, so we needed to develop our own API to allow other software providers to integrate easily with the solution.”
Blueprint was redeveloped to deliver full REST compatibility for iManage as well as flexible authentication, single sign on, and connections to iManage Cloud.
The emphasis has been UX, configurability and curation, and in this product demonstration we look at each of those and what they really mean in terms of the newly developed product. Configurability is key – it puts the platform in the hands of knowledge workers instead of IT, and Taylor demonstrates how.
We also look at Blueprint’s search, summarisation, curation and redaction capabilities.
