Mayer Brown has hired Fried Frank’s chief information officer Evette Pastoriza Clift as its global CIO, taking over from Doug Caddell, who is retiring. Based in New York, Pastoriza Clift will oversee Mayer Brown’s global IT operations and the team across the firm’s international platform.
“Evette’s wealth of experience leading transformative IT initiatives aligns perfectly with our strategic goals, including continuing to evolve our technology capabilities to help enable us to deliver even greater value to our clients,” said Jeremy Clay, Mayer Brown’s managing partner.
Pastoriza Clift has more than 20 years’ experience as a highly-regarded technology and business leader. She was a Fried Frank for a year and a half and before that was at Clifford Chance for a total of 14 years, as global director of technology services and prior to that director of IT for the Americas. She has also held the role of director of IT at Herrick Feinstein.
“I am thrilled to join Mayer Brown as CIO. I look forward to working alongside the firm’s high-performing team to deliver excellence and innovative solutions to our stakeholders worldwide,” Pastoriza Clift said.
