Kevin Harris appointed as CIO of Ashurst

Kevin Harris has been appointed as chief information officer at Ashurst. He was previously CIO for EMEA at Norton Rose Fulbright.

Ashurst said today (29th October) that Harris’s extensive background in technology strategy, cyber-security and technology innovation will be instrumental in shaping the future of Ashurst’s digital landscape. Reporting to the chief transformation officer and member of the Ashurst executive team, Sid Maharaj, Harris brings over 20 years of experience in running IT operations and delivering complex change programmes to optimise infrastructure and align digital properties.

Maharaj commented: “Kevin’s proven track record in driving digital transformation and his ability to lead high performing teams will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and enhance our technology capabilities. Harris’s previous roles include IT Director at Taylor Wessing and he has held senior technology positions at KPMG and Deloitte.

Harris’s appointment follows the departure of chief digital officer Tara Waters, who has taken a career break.
