In this interactive webinar with NetDocuments, legal technology strategist Michelle Spencer and legal solutions director Jennifer Poon, we learnt more about ndMAX Intelligent Assistant’s capabilities, including how it leverages Microsoft Copilot and what the roadmap looks like.
NdMAX Assist is an intelligent agent that enables users to undertake tasks such as analysing and summarising a set of documents, identifying where the answers reside for further verification, and drafting responses or revisions to content. The assistant enables users to engage through natural language conversation.
We talked about NdMAX Assist itself and also, at a higher level, about the value of agentic AI and what an agent-to-agent world will look like.
The webinar, which took place on 26 November at 3pm-4pm GMT, started with a 10–15-minute demonstration which sparked numerous questions from the audience throughout the session to which Jen and Michelle provided thorough and insightful responses to.
Below are some of the questions that were posed and answered during the webinar:
- Is indexing saved for some amount of time for reuse, making future questions faster?
- How are the prompts customised? Is this done in PBMax or a separate UI?
- Will firms or individual practices within a firm be able set their own “quick prompts” or are we only able to leverage the predefined ones set by NetDocuments?
- Are there any limits on the number of documents and size of documents?
- Is NDMax Assist or NDPattern Builder Max in beta?
- Can it create this type of output in a tabular format too?
- What is the cost?
