Exclusive: Liz Quinn joins Peppermint as global account director

Leading industry sales head Liz Quinn today (12 February) joins Peppermint Technology in the new role of global account manager, as the UK-founded CRM vendor continues to expand its customer base internationally, particularly within the large law sector. Quinn joins from Elite Technology, where she has been an international sales head for over 25 years. Peppermint has in the last few days announced its acquisition by Litera, and Quinn will maintain her title and role in the wider organisation.

Speaking to Legal IT Insider, Peppermint’s CEO Gary Young said: “We’re always looking for the best people and Liz definitely falls into that category. In my seven years at Peppermint, I’ve hired 40 to 50 people who have been excellent and expert in their job and, importantly, a really good cultural fit. I was introduced to Liz a few months ago and we hit it off from the beginning. I’ve heard great things about her work at Elite and I’m excited about this opportunity.”

Peppermint’s CX365 SaaS platform provides law firms with modular client engagement, case and matter management, and document management software. The new global account director role has been created in light of growing international opportunities at Peppermint. Young said: “Through our close partnership with Microsoft we have started to get more opportunities in other parts of the globe, especially in the large law space, so we need more resource and skills in sales and marketing in that area.”

While Quinn was hired before the acquisition by Litera, Young says that nothing has changed in terms of her role, commenting: “Liz has got opportunities from our pipeline plus her own network and that doesn’t change, although we now have more to take to the market with Foundation and Concep. The priority is Peppermint’s platform and products.”

Quinn told us: “I’ve been hearing a lot about Peppermint and given its Microsoft platform and the opportunity to leverage AI, it’s part of the next wave for firms replacing their CRM system. I like the platform, and I really like the people.

“It’s been a hard decision to leave Elite because I’ve been there for 27 years working in practice management but I’m really looking forward to the challenge of learning something new and exciting on Microsoft. When I asked questions about the Peppermint platform, it has everything I asked about and the user interface is really easy. With everyone trying to get more out their lawyers and help their lawyers, it’s everything they are looking for, with the help of AI, all in one place, so it’s not surprising they are gaining traction with global firms.”
