Lewis Silkin rolls out Harvey across the firm

UK law firm Lewis Silkin has become the latest firm to make Harvey’s legal generative AI platform available to everyone in the firm, as part of what business and technology leader and strategist Alex Bazin says is the firm’s path to becoming a tech-enabled law firm.

Announcing the roll out on LinkedIn last week, Bazin said: “It has been a thrill to roll out a secure legal generative AI platform Harvey across Lewis Silkin over the last few weeks. Having trialled it last year, I already knew how transformational it was going to be, but it’s been a pleasure to watch colleagues find that out for themselves.”

Jo Farmer, joint managing partner at Lewis Silkin, said: “We only add new technologies, skillsets or service lines when we know it will benefit our clients – so we’re tremendously excited about the positives which Harvey will bring for them. Combining the judgement and expertise of our lawyers with the speed and efficiency that GenAI brings is a huge step forward.”

Farmer said that Lewis Silkin colleagues are already embracing this new technology with open arms. “Looking ahead, we’re committed to being fully transparent about how we use AI – and about both the advantages and potential challenges that it brings – and are looking forward to showcasing how it benefits our clients over the coming months,” she said.

The roll out follows the news that Harvey has raised $300m Series D. For our commentary on that see: https://legaltechnology.com/2025/02/18/comment-harveys-300m-raise-you-cannot-ignore-the-speed-of-adoption/
