Mishcon de Reya selects AI invoice-to-cash platform Oddr in first UK win

UK Top 20 law firm Mishcon de Reya has chosen Silicon Valley-founded AI invoice-to-cash platform Oddr to help transform its billing and collections operations, we can reveal. This is the first UK customer that Oddr has announced.

As law firms head into 2025, extended collection cycles and limited visibility into invoice lifecycles remain persistent issues across the sector, often leading to inefficiencies and delayed cash flow.

After conducting what we’re told was a thorough evaluation of available solutions, Mishcon de Reya, an Aderant Expert customer with offices across London, Singapore, and other key markets, selected Oddr.

Oddr, which was founded in 2022 by former Intappers Milan Bobde, Sumit Garg and Saurabh Mehra, is built for law firms and focuses entirely on the lifecycle of invoices. It provides insights, real-time analytics and cash flow predictions so its law firm customers know when they can expect to be paid and what their cashflow looks like in the coming months. Clients can also pay into the same platform, opening up further possibilities for analytics and forecasting.

“At Mishcon de Reya, we continuously strive to enhance our operations to better serve our clients and ensure efficiency across all aspects of our business,” said Matthew Tilley (pictured above), a partner and the chief financial officer at Mishcon de Reya. “Oddr’s innovative platform aligns perfectly with our vision, offering the transparency, automation, and insights needed to elevate both our internal processes and client satisfaction.”

Oddr has experienced significant adoption across North America, including Ward and Smith, which Legal IT Insider first announced last year, and Am Law 100 law firm Husch Blackwell. Dan Wales, strategic advisor for Oddr, said: “Our ability to deliver innovative solutions globally has enabled us to build exceptional relationships with firms like Mishcon de Reya. As one of our early adopters in the UK, Mishcon de Reya’s forward-thinking approach underscores the growing demand for our platform’s ability to transform financial operations worldwide.”

Mishcon is known for its unusual early adopter approach towards new technologies, led by its legal tech accelerator MDR Lab, which enables the firm to invest in and incubate new technologies.
