Barbri calls for engagement on next phase of GenAI training courses

Legal education and bar preparation company Barbri is calling out for feedback and engagement on the next phase of their generative AI training courses, which are likely to focus on practical uses cases and a deeper dive on using tools properly.

Barbri has been around for 50 years and started out life helping people – including Barack Obama – to sit the US Bar exam. It established a presence in the UK in 2015, offering Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) preparation courses.

Last year Barbri acquired digital learning company Skillburst, which worked with a consortium of global law firms to build a 21-module GenAI training course.

Speaking to Legal IT Insider at Future Lawyer UK, Barbri’s chief growth officer Lucie Allen said: “Now is the next phase. We want feedback and engagement so that more people can get involved in developing the next course. We think people are likely to want to learn more about practical use cases and also developing human skills to use GenAI properly, so let us know what would be the most useful thing for you.”
