Alistair Wye joins White & Case as director of innovation and AI 

Alistair Wye (pictured above) is joining White & Case as director, innovation and AI, starting on 22 April, we can reveal. He reports to Isabel Parker, White & Case’s chief innovation officer. Parker joined White & Case in October last year and is responsible for the firm’s innovation strategy globally.  

In his role at White & Case, Wye will play a key role advancing the firm’s innovation strategy, with a particular focus on leveraging established and emerging AI technologies for the transformation of client service delivery. He joins from Latham & Watkins, where he led the global emerging technology and innovation team.  

 

Wye’s earlier roles include head of presales at RAVN (now part of iManage); an associate at Ashurst; and an associate at Latham & Watkins, where he specialised in leveraged finance.  

Parker, who was previously a partner in Deloitte Legal’s ‘transform to operate’ service, said: “We are delighted to welcome Alistair to White & Case as we continue to pursue our strategic innovation goals.’ 

 

White & Case was recognised for ‘innovation in generative AI strategy’ at the 2024 FT Innovative Lawyers Award North America. The award recognised the work that White & Case is doing leveraging a large language model for client work, including first draft mark-up clauses.
