On 30th October, Legal IT Insider will be hosting an exclusive in-person event at Leonardo Royal Hotel in St Paul’s, London, celebrating our 30th anniversary and three decades of legal technology coverage. The event promises to be a memorable afternoon of knowledge sharing and networking, followed by an evening of drinks and celebrations.
The afternoon will feature a TalkingTech LIVE Session, in which panellists and our guests will discuss the most pressing issues around security and risk in a GenAI world; data management; and the DMS of the future. This will be an excellent opportunity for attendees to network with peers and exchange ideas, both during and in between sessions. No keynotes. Just peer-to-peer learning and education.
This will be followed by a 5.30pm drinks reception at the same venue, where we’ll have some fun and announce the winners of our ‘30 Years In Legal Tech’ competition. This is a unique opportunity to recognise the significant advancements that have shaped our industry.

On a personal note, I can’t take credit for thirty years of the Orange Rag/Legal IT Insider, but I can certainly honour it. This year marks my decade of taking over from Charles Christian, who founded Legal IT Insider in 1995. For me, this anniversary party is an opportunity to honour the heritage of the publication and to get together to discuss the future of the legal sector, which is changing really fast.
