Litera today (22 April) announced that its strategic partner agreement with global legal technology consultancy Harbor will now include implementation and support work for Litera’s Foundation Peppermint CX365 platform.
Litera in February acquired Peppermint Technology and the new platform, which also builds on Litera’s much earlier acquisition of law firm intelligence vendor Foundation Software, will, we’re told, notably combine CRM, ERM, matter management, and case management in a single solution, integrated with Microsoft 365. There is, as yet, no mention of document management. For more on the functionality that Peppermint has been working on, make sure you read our DMS report HERE
“Law firms deserve technology that’s both powerful and accessible, with rapid time to value,” said Avaneesh Marwaha, CEO of Litera. “Our acquisition of Peppermint Technology brought best-in-class capabilities into our ecosystem, and our expanded partner relationship with Harbor enables firms to harness these capabilities with speed and ease. This collaboration exemplifies our customer-first approach—meeting people where they work in Microsoft through Foundation Peppermint’s CX365 platform while driving measurable results with implementation excellence and world-class support.”
Harbor is a fast-growing consultancy that has in recent months and years acquired HBR Consulting, LAC Group, Wilson Allen, Pinnacle, Ascertus and ClientsFirst Consulting. It has a global team of around 800 people, advising on strategy, legal technology, operations and intelligence. It has to date already helped law firms to use Foundation, including a quick start package launched last year.
“This is an exciting time for law firms reevaluating their marketing technology and data strategy to accelerate growth,” said Norm Mullock, global head of corporate development and alliances at Harbor. “Our team of Foundation Peppermint experts has a proven track record of working with the technology and delivering successful outcomes.”
