Legatics expands leadership team with the hire of Rob MacAdam and Bilal Chaudhry

Legal transaction management platform Legatics has made two strategic additions to its leadership team: Rob MacAdam joins as chief product officer and Bilal Chaudhry as vice president of sales.

MacAdam brings over a decade of legal technology and product leadership experience to Legatics. A former M&A and private equity lawyer, MacAdam has held senior roles at top-tier firms such as Pinsent Masons and Ashurst, as well as vendors including HighQ, Thomson Reuters, Onit, BusyLamp, and Elevate.

“I know firsthand how frustrating and chaotic transaction management can be – it’s what first drew me into legal tech,” said MacAdam. “But 10 years on, there’s still huge potential to transform how lawyers manage transactions.

“I’ve been really impressed by the Legatics team and the platform they’ve built. It has real momentum and is having a major impact for law firms. They’re in a fantastic position to lead the change the industry needs.” MacAdam was a corporate lawyer and said that with the move to Legatics it is great to be returning to his transactional roots.

Chaudhry, meanwhile, brings deep commercial experience to Legatics. He has held senior roles at Litera (director of EMEA and LATAM); Pexip (director of legal & professional services); and most recently Lupl, where he was director of revenue and growth.

Chaudhry said that Legatics “solves a real and persistent challenge in legal transaction management, and the traction to date shows how strongly it’s resonating with firms.”

“Having spent my career helping legal teams modernise the way they work, this felt like a natural next step,” he said. “With a strong team, a clear vision, and growing momentum, I’m looking forward to scaling our go-to-market efforts globally, deepening client partnerships, and cementing Legatics as the go-to platform for legal transactions worldwide.”

Legatics raised £4m in 2023 to fuel its growth and expanded its platform from transaction management into broader project management. You can read some of its case studies here: https://www.legatics.com/customers/
