Regional Law Firm is looking to recruit a 2nd Line Support Contractor to join the support team for a 3 to 6 month contract period (which may extend further).
Primary focus will be responsibility for SCCM and packaging/deployment of applications. This will be a multifaceted role assisting with project work and serving as an escalation point for all issues/problems raised by the service desk and many other roles supporting line of business systems software and hardware.
You will be required to cover multi sites in Liverpool and Manchester.
Key Skills & Experience required are:
Demonstrated experience of building, deploying, testing and maintaining Windows 7/8 desktops using imaging and desktop management software in an enterprise environment (SCCM 2012 – administration, task sequence creation, deployment and Back End management)
Excellent working knowledge of Sysprep, WinPE, Windows Image Format Technology (WIM), Image Engineering Methodology with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), WDS and WSUS
Demonstrated experience of MSI, Scripting tools and other application packaging technologies (AdminStudio, PACE, Installshield)
Familiarization with enterprise technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware/Firewalls
Understanding of and exposure to Citrix XenDesktop 7.x and App-V
Providing 2nd Tier support for escalated calls from the Service Desk for a range of technologies
Awareness and exposure to VMWare, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, BackupExec & Veeam would be an advantage
Solid Microsoft Windows 7/8 knowledge – 2nd line desktop infrastructure support
Experience creating documentation. Audiences can vary between technical, non-technical users and management.
This is an immediate start contract role covering multi sites in Liverpool and Manchester.
