Aderant announced that its 2012 Momentum EMEA user conference held last month in London was the largest and most successful annual user conference since the event’s debut in 2007. The two day conference drew 125 attendees and delivered an expanded program that included 34 educational sessions. In a special ceremony hosted by Charles Christian, publisher and editor of Legal Technology Insider and The Orange Rag, A&L Goodbody Solicitors, Burges Salmon and Bird & Bird each received awards for their partnership with Aderant.
A&L Goodbody received the Best Live Performance award for their smooth implementation of Aderant Expert, including workflow, across the firm. They will soon be implementing the Expert ClearView business intelligence suite.
Burges Salmon was awarded Best Newcomer and selected Aderant Expert in January 2012 after a thorough market search. Since then they have actively partnered with Aderant on the development of a new module.
Bird & Bird’s Philippe Dere, the firm’s finance transformation manager, received the Hall of Fame award given to a firm or individual who exhibits outstanding partnership with Aderant. Philippe has been instrumental in Bird & Bird’s roll out of Aderant Expert and much more.
Held at the Grange St. Paul’s Hotel, Momentum EMEA gives Aderant clients in the UK and Europe the opportunity to attend two full days of sessions on industry best practices, using Aderant software, new products, technology tips and tricks, client case studies, new product releases, and more. In addition, this year featured a new “Ask the Expert” room staffed by Aderant product experts from the services, support, and product management teams where clients could ask any questions they might have.
First time attendee Simon Russell, finance director for Burgess Salmon, remarked, “The main impression I took away was the real sense of Aderant and your clients really working together to improve the product. We look forward to adding to this collaborative community.”
“Momentum EMEA was an outstanding event for Aderant and we are grateful that so many clients took valuable time away from the office to attend,” said Chris Giglio, chief executive officer for Aderant. “These challenging economic conditions and the changing legal marketplace make this conference a vital resource for firms so that they can network with peers, gain new technology insights, and optimize the use of their mission critical business management software.”
