Aderant at its Momentum Global 2026 conference today (12 May) will announce the launch of the Aderant Agent Center, which is built on the Stridyn platform and powered by AI assistant MADDI.
The Agent Center is described by Aderant as “the next evolution in firm operations,” bringing together intelligent automation, real-time insights, and AI-driven workflows. It currently includes a collections agent that automates and prioritizes collections workflows; an appeals agent that identifies e-billing rejections and drafts appeals; and a talent evaluation agent that aggregates matter-level feedback into structured insights. A further 10 agents are planned for release post-Momentum.
“Law firms are moving beyond isolated automation toward intelligent systems that can coordinate work across the business,” said Lisa Erickson, SVP of product management and AI at Aderant. “The Aderant Agent Center reflects that shift by bringing together data, workflows, and AI to drive more efficient operations and better decision-making across the work-to-cash lifecycle of law firms.”
Talent evaluation is automating the evaluation method that firms use. Erickson said in a pre-conference briefing: “Just imagine if I’m doing evals on 500 people; it takes that very manual process and it culls it down to seconds and minutes in terms of getting the eval feedback in, using that to write an eval, easily submitting it.”
The collections agent helps to automate collections processes, and the appeals agent helps to understand an appeal coming in on a bill.
Other highlights from Momentum this year include an onsite hackathon, which is the first of its kind. Clients have been allowed to pick from one of five different ideas for the hackathon, with the top voted idea taken forward. SVP of global marketing & communications, Jessica Kattman, said in the briefing: “Our development team will be in a room and they will be coding away over the course of 24 to 30 hours. They are going to bring that idea to life in the form of a prototype and then they’ll be sharing it out at our closing reception on Wednesday.”
Aderant’s CEO and president Chris Cartrett said that the conference is all about the promise of Stridyn. “We committed to the platform a couple of years ago and I would argue this Momentum is all about the promise of Stridyn and how it’s being delivered,” he said.
