Newly launched UK legal management consultancy Altruistic Ventures has appointed DWF Ventures senior manager Jay Dunning as a non-executive director. Alt-V was founded in April by Janders Dean duo Allister Spencer and Natalie Kuebler. Dunning co-founded DWF Consulting and is a recognised leader in legal design.
Dubbed by Alt-V ‘the crown prince of legal creativity himself’, Dunning will act as a sounding board for the company.
“Having come across the team prior to the formation of Alt-V Law and realising that we share a passion for creativity in legal practice and innovative problem solving, I jumped at the opportunity to get more involved and continue to challenge practises in the legal sector,” said Dunning.
“My role with Alt-V Law will be as a sounding board to ensure that their services are aligned with the needs of the legal sector. The team’s humble approach and willingness to listen really differentiates them from their competitors.”
Dunning is regarded as a highly effective facilitator and has supported many businesses in understanding, effectively implementing and sustaining business improvements, design and creative problem-solving techniques.
Spencer said: “Jay’s experience, expertise and professional network will be instrumental to ensuring that the Alt-V service offering is aligned to the needs of our clients across APAC and EMEA. We want the industry to hold us accountable for our practises and Jay will make sure of that.”
