Business Analyst International Law firm City of London c£50,000 plus bens

Our client is a top 50 international law firm employing over 350 fee earners in offices in the UK and the Far East. The firm is a leader within the insurance and litigation, and commercial arenas and is going through a period of sustained expansion. This is a new role for an experienced Business Analyst to join its Knowledge, Information and Data team to be based from its smart offices in the City.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Conduct business analysis activities in support of strategic change initiatives and the delivery of Business Intelligence reporting.
Identify and utilise the most appropriate business analysis techniques to elicit requirements from differing groups of stakeholders. This may include the use of interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios and task and workflow analysis.
Manage and reconcile conflicts between stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for the project at hand.
Create business cases that describe and communicate the value of a project using cost-benefit analysis techniques, in order to obtain sponsorship, support and approval of the initiative.
Deliver the outcome of analysis activities in well-presented documentation, clearly stating salient points in language that can be clearly understood by both business and technical stakeholders.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs, functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts:

Task and Workflow Maps
GUI, Screen and Interface Designs
Ensure requirements map to real business need, are approved by all relevant stakeholders, and meet essential quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Drive and challenge stakeholders on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
You will need the following skills and experience:
Proven track record of delivering a high standard of business analysis service in relation to business projects and change initiatives.
Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirement statements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of professionals
Advanced level of IT skills and capability.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Comfortable operating in a matrix-based management structure.
Able to integrate into differing project structures and environments with resiliency and flexibility.
Ability to work under pressure, multi task and deal with concurrent projects
