Senior Account Manager (New Business Development, Account Management, London)
Leaders of Software, services and solutions for the professional services market place are expanding rapidly and now have a position for a Senior Account Manager / Business Development Manager.
The Senior Account Manager works to improve the organisation’s market position and achieve financial growth from existing client base. This person defines long-term organisational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions and practices.
The primary role is to prospect for new opportunities within their clients by networking, direct contact, advertising or other means of generating interest from the client.
They must develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. They are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients. Business Development senior level management, marketing, and technical staff.
Skills and Qualifications
You will have a proven track record of new business sales and account management of enterprise software ideally to the professional services market place.
Networking, Persuasion/confidence building, Public and Group Speaking, Research, Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Territory Management, Legal or Professional Services Market Knowledge, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism, basic computer skills preferably with a known or proprietary CRM, and the Microsoft suit of services.
You will be expected to travel and demonstrate a level of comfort and confidence in working both in and out of the Office.
