Consolidation continues in UK vendor market
London-based and privately owned Eurodata Systems, which in October 2008 acquired Transam Microsystems, cites DLA Piper, Macfarlanes, Herbert Smith and Browne Jacobson as reference sites, and at one time was making noises about becoming a serious competitor for Tikit (doesn't everyone say that? …Ed) has been acquired by Trinity Expert Systems for an undisclosed sum. The last figures available show TES with a turnover of £25.6 million while Eurodata made £21.6 million. Trinity Experts Systems, which is a Microsoft, Oracle and SAP partner, was at one time flirting with the legal vertical market and evaluating the viability of developing legal market-specific DMS and PMS applications based on the Microsoft Dynamics and Sharepoint platforms.
