E-discovery – Masters Conference kicks off in the US today

The Masters Conference announced that Randy Sabett, partner at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP, and Magistrate Judge John Facciola, US Magistrate Judge, US District Court for the District of Columbia, will be keynote speakers at the Masters Conference. The conference Global Corporate Change – Navigating Discovery, Risk and Security takes October 13-14, 2009, at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC. The Masters Conference will bring together experts and leading professionals from law firms, corporations, government entities and the bench to discuss strategies, practices and resources for managing the information lifecycle.

In addition to the keynote addresses, there will be three educational tracks each day of this year’s conference. Each track will delve into the critical, up-to-the-minute issues facing legal departments and their outside counsel. The Masters Conference is also reconstituting a panel – featuring Judge Facciola, along with his counterparts in the UK Senior Master Whitaker and His Honour Judge Simon Brown QC, plus Chris Dale of the UK-based e-Disclosure Information Project and moderated by Patrick Burke, Senior Director & Assistant General Counsel at Guidance Software – to give attendees will have the opportunity to hear the best thinkers from both sides of the Atlantic talk about the differences, the commonality, and what each can learn from the other in this changing area.
