eDiscovery Consultant London Competitive salary

Our client is a leading international law firm employing over 1500 staff across three continents. To support their fee earners, the firm has a first class support services team and are now looking to hire an eDiscovery Consultant with strong experience of Relativity to join their eDiscovery/Dispute Resolution team based in the City of London.

The main purpose of the role will be to support the delivery of billable eDiscovery services to its internal clients and provide consulting and technical services to its lawyer to support use of its eDiscovery and its online document review platform Relativity and third party solutions.

Main duties will include:
To support the delivery of technical and consultancy services to lawyers and clients in:
eDisclosure
Online document review
Document management
Electronic trial preparation
Relevant court rules and practice directions
To work with the Head of eDiscovery, the lawyers and clients and provide processing and review solutions for edisclosure projects
To work with the Head of eDiscovery to deliver cutting edge technical solutions utilising the firms in-house platform, Relativity (and other available technologies as required).
To assist in the creation and maintenance of marketing materials and training documentation relating to the use of the Relativity platform, advancements in technology and the firms recommended practice and procedure as related to the use of the technology
To work with eDiscovery Lead Partner and Head of eDiscovery on the delivery of demonstrations and training to Partners and external clients
To drive the firms use of Relativity, Relativity Assisted Review (and other related technologies).
To work with the legal teams on analysing data and providing tailored technical solutions for management and review of disclosure data
To work with the legal teams on all phases of the EDRM from collection through to production
To provide consultative advice and on-going technical support, troubleshooting as required
Working with the Lead Partner and Head of eDiscovery to support the development and implementation of the firm’s e-discovery strategy and best practices.

Key relationships:
Daily contact with other members of the team to allocate and share responsibilities and tasks.
Regular contact with partners and lawyers to assess their individual case requirements and to support and train in their use of the various technology systems
Regular contact with clients, counsel, experts and others external to the firm to support and train in their use of the various technology systems
Regular contact with our panel of external eDiscovery providers for processing and forensic services

Skills and qualifications:
Legal/IT or Business degree educated (essential).
A strong technical understanding of litigation support and eDisclosure technologies.
Minimum of 5 years of project management or case management experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with Relativity (essential).
Experience with other litigation support/edisclosure platforms both for processing and review (highly desirable).
Excel and Access
Excellent communication skills,
Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining proper priorities and scheduling on extremely tight deadlines.
Flexibility in dealing with simultaneous projects
