OK, so what do the queues and general chaos at some polling stations in the UK yesterday have to do with local authority searches?

Answer: most local authorities pull staff from their search departments to act as polling station officials and to help with the subsequent counts.

So? So, don't expect any quick responses from local authority search departments today. And, it would be interesting to see if there is a correlation between the constituencies that had polling station problems and those that are traditionally slow making search returns.
