My client is a global leading software house specialising in the provision of an innovative suite of software within the legal technology arena. The company has an outstanding track record of success and is expanding its product portfolio.

This is a new role for an account Executive ( AE) to focus on further developing its client base in Western Europe.

The postholder will act as a trusted advisor to the market, helping ensure prospects know about our company and the products and services offered. Additionally, the AE works with customers to achieve success with their implementations and to achieve the value expectations that they have of our solutions.

The AE serves as the voice of the company in the defined geographic territory and at company sponsored events, targeting law firms across Europe. He/she is responsible for identifying new business opportunities by developing leads and arranging introductions to potential new customers, and also for growing sales in the existing customer base.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success, an existing network of contacts in the enterprise software business and/or the target market, and prior experience in either legal, financial services, banking, consulting or professional services.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with current and potential customers in the defined territory ( Western Europe)
Educate new and existing customers on the company’s products and solutions
Identify and develop a pipeline of opportunities in the defined territory
Meet and exceed sales goals – both new sales and add-on sales and upgrades
Support customer success projects. Lead efforts to improve relationships with At Risk Customers
Lead Account Management to ensure Annual Renewals of Customer Agreements and support collections
Partner with marketing (press releases, case studies, speaking opportunities), strategic marketing and market research programs
Participate in reference and retention programs (such as users groups) and product development initiatives
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Proficiency in at least one major European language ( French or Spanish preferred)
5+ years of experience in software sales, ideally within the legal sector, professional services or related field, with emphasis on new account development
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential. Ability to influence, network and engage law firm leaders
