BigHand has announced the dates and locations for the international roadshow it will be running throughout November and December this year. The roadshow begins in Bristol on 5th of November and will be travelling to nine other locations across the UK and Ireland finishing in London on November 22nd, followed by three events in Holland, one in Germany, one in South Africa and four in Australia. You can find the full schedule here: http://makeeverysecondcount.bighand.com/roadshow-locations

The aim of the roadshow is to highlight the latest developments in digital dictation, speech recognition, mobility and workflow management. BigHand will also be showcasing its new iPad App – BigHand Go – the first ever enterprise digital dictation app designed specifically for the iPad, as well as BigHand Work Manager, developed for managing Tasks and Document markups but with a wide range of further potential uses.

COMMENT: We had an exclusive preview of the BigHand Go iPad app last week and were seriously impressed – in fact we can see it as being one of the growing number of apps (there is some good stuff going on with time recording as well) where the iPad platform becomes the standard platform used both on the road and in the office. Work Manager, developed in conjunction with DLA Piper, is another neat product using the BigHand workflow engine in a more general document production processing scenario. And, also check out BigHand FileNote Server, which uses speech recognition to create searchable filenotes that are automatically attached to the DMS.

The roadshow is being sponsored by BigHand partners Philips and Nuance. Philips will be demonstrating their latest dictation devices: the SpeechMike Premium and DPM8000 which is supported in the latest BigHand release. There will also be prize draw to win a new device at each event. BigHand will be demonstrating the latest Speech Recognition solutions support by Nuance, suppliers of Dragon software.

Ben Mills, Managing Director of the International Legal and professional division incorporating, UK , EMEA and APAC regions, says “In previous years the roadshow has been a huge success amongst all delegates. This year is shaping up to be the most successful yet as we go international. The road show is the ideal opportunity for both existing customers and new customers to find out about what we’ve been working on and what we have planned for the future. We have enhancements to our mobile range, core digital dictation and speech recognition solutions and with exciting new products such as BigHand Go and BigHand Work Manager. BigHand is becoming so much more than dictation”

The events will be held at lunch times, are free to attend and registrations are open to both clients and anyone who is interested in using BigHand technology. For more information or to register,  visit www.bighand.com or contact Briana McCrory [email protected]
