Nashville skylines ahoy! – the RELEVENT legal futures un-conference
It's bag-packing time at Insider Towers as we start preparing for our trip to Nashville next week for the RELEVENT un-conference, which will be looking at the future of ediscovery and the legal profession plus relatyed topics including social media, Big Data, law firm marketing and law schools. Here's the official blurb from the website…
Be a part of the Five Year Roadmap for the Future Focused Lawyer at RELEVENT, an invitation-only, innovation-focused un-conference built around collaborative learning and conversation with some of Legal's biggest thought leaders and movers. RELEVENT will be the most RELEVANT legal conference you will ever attend, as you take a deep dive into technology, big data, analytics, social media, and even marketing.
Besides the best legal futures conference on this side of the Atlantic, we will all enjoy the best music on the Planet with live entertainment every night from Nashville’s finest plus a special closing evening performance by the #1 songwriter in Nashville.
On Monday and Tuesday, we will start at 9:30 a.m. with panels, speakers, interactive participation, and even intellectual exercises. The un-conference style format will allow thought leaders to jumpstart creativity and solution-oriented thinking for approximately 15 minutes before you and other colleagues weigh in with rapid-fire questions via text messages to the session moderator the one and only Matt Homann of LexTHINK. The moderated Q & A will also be approximately 15 minutes. We promise no exposition, pedantics, or text-based powerpoints. For sure, we will cover the gamut of eDiscovery technology and best practices, but we also will dive into leveraging social media, encouraging entrepreneurial culture in your organization, the future of the law practice itself.
Insider editor Charles Christian will be leading the Tuesday lunchtime session with a discussion on The Future of Law Firm Innovation.
