Fentons Solicitors LLP, a top 200 law firm and claimant personal injury practice (from offices in Manchester and London, Fentons handles fast-track claims through to
complex spinal and head injuries), has selected Eclipse’s Proclaim Practice Management software solution.


Rapid growth and a sustained increase in the level of claims received necessitated an in-depth analysis of the firm’s existing IT systems.  Fentons made the decision to replace its incumbent practice management solution with Eclipse’s Proclaim system, for an initial rollout of 200 users. As well as the core Proclaim Case Management system for Personal Injury, Fentons is implementing Proclaim Accounts to form a fully-integrated Practice Management solution.  In addition, the practice has chosen Eclipse’s FileView online case tracking tool to provide its clients with 24/7 access to live case progression data.  Eclipse is also carrying out a conversion of data from the existing Fentons software system.

Comment: although the formal announcement does not mention the name of the incumbent system being swapped out, a quick look at the Insider 250 Chart reveals the firm's legacy software was Axxia.
