Four North American law firms have made the decision to transition from Thomson Reuters Elite Enterprise to Elite 3E after a competitive pitch that in each case included Aderant, as Elite continues its battle to retain and convert customers from the sunsetted practice management system.
The firms transitioning from Enterprise are:
Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, a U.S. national law firm with more than 350 lawyers across 8 offices. The firm ranked 180th on The American Lawyer’s 2016 AmLaw 200 rankings of U.S. law firms.
Clausen Miller, P.C., a Chicago-based insurance law firm in operation since 1936 and staffing 250 lawyers.
Smith Amundsen LLC, a business law firm focusing on business transactions, litigation, and labour and employment matters, staffing 180 lawyers across 7 offices of the United States Midwest.
Alexander Holburn Beaudin + Lang LLP, a Vancouver-based firm staffing 75 lawyers and providing a wide range of litigation, dispute resolution, and business law services to clients throughout Canada and abroad.
The move to 3E from Enterprise was also accompanied by other product transitions for two of the firms. Both Michael Best & Friedrich and Smith Amundsen selected eBillingHub, designed to automate e-billing processes. Michael Best & Friedrich LLP also selected Business Development Premier, an integral component of the Elite Enterprise Business Management Solution, which gives firm deeper insights into the companies and professionals important to them and helping them unearth opportunities and deliver real-time insights to develop and win new business.
