Thomson Reuters Elite just announced that Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has become the latest firm to select Elite 3E as its new business management platform. Freshfields, part of the UK “magic circle,” comprises more than 2700 lawyers, with 27 offices in all the main financial and regulatory centers globally, representing clients in more than 200 jurisdictions. The firm is replacing its legacy Tikit (previously ResSoft) Firmware PMS.

“We are thrilled that Freshfields has decided to expand its Elite Enterprise Business Management Solution to encompass all critical areas of the business,” said Elisabet Hardy, vice president of Product Management at Elite. “The next generation technology of 3E will undoubtedly benefit Freshfields with a core set of best practices to help streamline daily processes and increase overall efficiency as the firm continues to grow its global presence.”

Comment: Good news for Elite as you can’t get a more prestigious endorsement than an order from Freshfields. And, bad news for SAP which has long harboured hopes that Freshfields would go with them.
