And no we haven’t made a mistake, Intapp has just been through a rebranding exercise so it is now Intapp Inc and not IntApp Inc. Thank goodness, that awkwArd upper cAse A was a reAl throwbAck to the 1990s! The company’s new look website has also gone live now www.intapp.com

So, the news…

• Corporate: Intapp report that in the last 12 months: 70 new customers have adopted one or more Intapp software products + 177 existing customers have licensed one or more additional Intapp software products + Intapp grew headcount by over 60%, with significant investments in R&D, customer support, professional services and account management staff. Plus, of course, the company acquired Advanced Productivity Solutions, the makers of the DTE Axiom system.

• New product: Intapp will this week announced Intapp Open 2.0, a major update to its new business acceptance application. Pat Archbold of Intapp’s risk practivce group adds “Intapp Open delivers unique data integration, search, reporting, resolution and collaboration features, all through a straightforward, consumer-grade user interface. The net result – conflicts management transformed from a chore to a competitive advantage, providing a simpler, faster and more intuitive experience to all who participate in the process.”

• New Wins: And it wouldn’t be ILTA without some new win annoucements. The latest from Intapp are SJ Berwin in London (soon to become part of global to 50 law firm King & Wood Mallesons) who have selected Intapp Open to enhance conflicts management. The firm’s IT director Simon Kominsky commented “We know we set the bar high in this area – our requirements have been honed through many years of developing and using our own in-house conflicts product. I think it’s fair to say the team are very impressed with the progress Intapp is making.”

+ Sedgwick LLP, an international litigation and business law firm, is now Intapp Integration Builder to streamline and automate complex workflows within its environment, including new lawyer and new employee onboarding.*

+ Marshall Gerstein & Borun LLP has selected Intapp Open to streamline and automate its new business acceptance and conflicts management processes. The firm’s IT director Kimberly Giertz added “We evaluated several software options for enhancing intake and conflicts management and quickly determined that the innovative approach offered by Intapp Open, with its modern architecture, quick configurability and polished user interface, would best position our firm to address our long term objectives.”

+ Sterne Kessler Goldstein & Fox PLLC, an intellectual property law firm based in Washington DC, is now leveraging Intapp Wall Builder to protect sensitive client information throughout the matter lifecycle. “As an intellectual property firm, we face rigorous information security requirements mandated by export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR),” said Shawn Mitkowski, Chief Information Officer, Sterne Kessler. “Wall Builder centralizes and automates access control management across the many systems our lawyers use to create, store and manage sensitive client information. The product enables us to meet our regulatory compliance obligations, frees administrative staff from having to invest significant time to configure systems manually, and lets our IT organization focus on additional strategic projects.”
