Our client is a leading international supplier of technology to the legal and professional services sectors. It is part of a major international information services provider and is going through a period of sustained growth. This role is within their information technology team which provide Case and BPM solutions to the legal and professional services sectors.

Working as an Implementation Consultant within its Legal business unit, you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality business solutions that are designed and built around the its Case and Matter management software

All Implementation Consultants are required to be self-motivated professional team players who have a competitive fire and passion about providing solutions to the company’s clients. The role of Implementation Consultant is customer facing and as such you are required to work both on customer sites and in the office as necessary and as projects dictate. Some projects will require you to work as a member of a larger team whilst others will require independent working. In all cases and of equal importance is the ability to think & act quickly with an analytical approach to diagnosing and solving problems.

Consultancy Skills and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have experience or capability in some, or all, of the following areas:
– Business analysis and system specification
– Workflow and business process design and documentation
– Solution implementation, deployment and testing
– Prepare and deliver training to end users
– Create and maintain solution documentation and issue reports for future reference
– Effective communication at all levels, internal and external
– Analyse, resolve and escalate issues
– Pre and post sales support and customer care
– Create and manage ‘Go-Live’ procedures
– Advise clients on support, management and system housekeeping and maintenance
– Develop solutions in a manner that ensures they are repeatable and easy to support
– Work with project managers to deliver high quality solutions on schedule
– A willingness and ability to travel in the UK and beyond as necessary

Qualifications – Technical Skills:

The team work with a variety of development tools and environments. All Implementation Consultants will be exposed to these and they are expected to be able to adapt and pick up new skills as the requirements dictate and as customer environments change. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and expertise in at least 3 of the following areas:
– Web Development
– JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS
– SQL Server databases and T-SQL
– C# (optional)

An understanding of the UK legal market and some knowledge or direct exposure to the systems and solutions used by law firms would be advantageous. Candidates will also be considered based on excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
