The role, which will be based in either Brussels or Amsterdam and supporting users in London, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam, includes executing firmwide IT initiatives and policies in the European offices, management of IT staff, development and implementation of guidelines and standard procedures to ensure efficient IT operations, participation in evaluation, planning and acquisition of new hardware and software as necessary. This exciting opportunity requires a seasoned professional who is flexible in terms of travel and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, as well as the ability to prioritize. This prominent international US law firm has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior IT Support Specialist/IT Manager to join their London office.  You will be responsible for monitoring the network, perform troubleshooting, install and maintain wide area network hardware and software, co-ordinate the installation of hardware/software and co-ordinate third-party maintenance.  Ideal candidates will be degree level educated (or equivalent) along with previous law firm experience.
