IRIS Legal has confirmed it has expanded its operation with the addition of a further 27 new employees across all parts of the business and is recruiting for a further eight. “We have seen a strong growth in demand for IRIS Law Business and IRIS Law Business Hosted in recent months with 12 new orders being placed in March alone. We anticipate this growth to continue and have therefore invested in a number of staff across the business to support it” comments Doug Hargrove, Managing Director. IRIS Legal has also invested further in its Senior Management Team and has recruited three more individuals with strong industry experience and knowledge. The new team members are; Andrew Wood (New Business Sales Manager), Nick Dearden (Head of Development) and Jitendra Valera (Chief Marketing Officer).

Hargrove continues “Andrew Wood has a great deal of experience in the UK legal sector, first with a London solicitors firm and then with Lexis Nexis and more recently Thomson Reuters. His primary focus is to support the new business sales team and to increase the numbers of new order signings for our IRIS Law suite, hosted services and Laserform electronic legal forms. Nick Dearden joins the team as Head of Development with many years of experience in software.  His primary objective is to make a significant impact to our product planning and execution process as we create an industry best in class development organisation. Jitendra Valera (JV) has a wealth of software and legal market experience, having successfully developed and managed enterprise software, services and internet companies. He was  most recently with Elite, Thomson Reuters and Sweet & Maxwell. JV’s primary objective is to drive the strategic direction of IRIS Legal forward.

At the same time as announcing the substantial recruitment of staff which places IRIS Legal firmly as the largest supplier of software and services solutions to the UK Legal sector, IRIS Legal also launched its continuous improvement programme. The programme has the sole objective of increasing IRIS’ focus on its customers and comprises a number of initiatives including; an agility and responsiveness initiative which involves a drive towards sustained engineering and on-shore development, an account management initiative which sees the number of account management employees increased and a delivery excellence initiative which will deliver a much smoother product and service deployment experience for clients through the joining of the IRIS Legal Professional Services and Support teams.

Hargrove continues “The continuous improvement programme is core to everything we are doing to continue to deliver world class services to our growing number of clients. Along with removing the end of support dates for our legacy products we are increasing our service offerings to clients. This includes our new 24/7 knowledge base self-serve support portal and our on-line logging.
