An opportunity has now arisen in our Southampton office to join the Service team as a Level 2 Support Analyst and the main technical point of contact for the Southampton office. From time to time you may also be required to travel to other sites. Your main duties will include providing a high calibre of technical support by responding to all incidents escalated from the Service Desk visiting employees to resolve issues at their workstations where required, ensuring all new joiners have the necessary IT equipment and covering the Service Desk during busier times or periods of absence.

It is essential that you have a good technical background and an enthusiasm for learning. Excellent customer service skills and an ability to troubleshoot problems are a must.

On the technical side, you will have a working knowledge of Windows XP, MS Office and Windows 7. It is also essential that you have experience of using, configuring and deploying applications and desktops using Microsoft SMS or Systems Centre Configuration Manager. It would be a distinct advantage if you have experience of involvement in the deploying large scale projects.
