My client is a hugely successful and expanding law firm based in Manchester, and they are currently recruiting for a 1st and 2nd Line Support Analyst to join their team. This is a very varied role and will involve first and second line IT Support for internal users within a professional services environment.

As an IT Support Analyst within the firm you shall be responsible for taking initial calls / emails, logging them using service desk software, resolving these issues where possible, and if necessary escalating the ticket to the 3rd line team.

You shall provide both remote and desktop support, which will involve working with hardware and software, and provide project based support when required, which will involve working closely with the Infrastructure Manager. As such, this opportunity offers the successful candidate with the opportunity to learn new skills and gain exposure to project based work.

From a technical perspective, we are looking for a candidate with skills in the following areas:
• Windows 7 support
• MS Office 2010 Support
• Windows Server 2003 / 2010
• Hyper V
• Citrix
• Symantec

We are looking for a candidate with around 2 years experience in a similar IT Support role, and ideally experience within a professional services environment.
