Now for news on the other big legal IT event taking place in Australia this month – the annual Janders Dean Legal Knowledge & Innovation Conference, which takes place in Sydney on 19 & 20 September. I had the pleasure of speaking there last year and the latest news is this year’s event is already sold out, with all 120 delegate passes sold.
Attached here – 2013 Conference – Delegate Registration Invitation – is the programme for the event, which has an excellent speakers line-up, including one of our regular contributors George Beaton.
This year’s event also sees the launch of Australia and New Zealand’s first Innovation Index in the legal industry, which aims to identify the top legal firms and inhouse teams that are driving innovation across knowledge sharing, cost and time management, client service delivery and employee engagement, amongst other criteria. The Index, which has been jointly created by LexisNexis Asia Pacific and Janders Dean, will be judged by a panel that includes Peter Williams, Centre for the Edge at Deloitte + George Beaton, Beaton Research & Consulting + Denise Farmer, LexisNexis Pacific + Justin North, Janders Dean + Nicole McKenna, McKenna BDF + Alexandra Rose, The Benevolent Society + Jennifer Ireland, University of Western Sydney.
The event always has a high social media profile so follow @JandersDean and the hashtag #JDKMConf on Twitter.
