We are looking for a Desktop Analyst (Mobility) for our office in Manchester. The Desktop Analyst will have a key focus on mobility providing a user support function or ‘Service Desk’ facility to all members of BLM and undertake a leading role in the provision and support of technical projects where they affect the mobility landscape.
As subject matter experts on mobility (smartphones, unified comms, telephony, mobile applications), they will provide support and guidance in the Mobility field, to ensure that all BLM projects and technologies are covered from a mobility angle. They will provide technical support to BLM system users, either by, email, telephone or ‘at-desk’, as well as assisting 1st line Service Desk staff.
You should have expertise and experience in Mobility Device Management (MDM), with a knowledge of unified communication solutions and with major mobile platforms (iOS, Android, BlackBerry, etc.). You will have a keen interest in the technical advancements of the mobility environment. Together with a positive approach to customer service, you should have good troubleshooting skills and an understanding of Active Directory, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP networking and printers.
