Law Firm Infrastructure Architect – London £60,000
Our Client is a leading Global Law Firm. Due to continued expansion and improvement of the IT infrastructure our client is now looking for an Infrastructure Architect.
As Infrastructure Architect you will be responsible for the continued development and maintenance of the IT backend infrastructure. Whilst you will be expected to provide expert 4th Line Support the bulk of the role will be spent assisting with project work and the implementation, design and upgrade of the the IT systems.
Responsibilities of Infrastructure Architect:
Design and manage the backend infrastructure.
Create disaster recovery solutions and processes.
Continued review of best practice in order to ensure the constant upkeep and availability of the infrastructure.
Work closely with project managers to delivery projects on time and to an excellent standard.
Provide 4th Level BAU support.
Skills required of Infrastructure Architect:
Excellent knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008
Excellent knowledge of the virtualised environment, including design experience. (Ideally both Citrix and Vmware but strong in at least one.)
Advanced knowledge of Active Directory 2003/2008.
Experienced with Exchange Server 2003/2010.
Strong technical skills with EMC SAN.
Knowledge of Firewalls and firewall technology highly desirable.
Understanding and exposure to LAN/WAN technologies.
The Infrastructure Architect position is based in Central London and will pay in the region of £60,000 depending on experience.
