A position has arisen for a Service Delivery Manager who will work alongside the Head of IT and IT Service providers.

Key Responsibilities of this Service Delivery Manager role are:

*The Service Delivery Manager will assist the IT Partner to reduce cost through new/improved systems, competitive tender and regular review of supply contracts. This involves research and assistance in issuing tenders and reviewing contracts.
*Monitor performance of outsourced IT suppliers, collate relevant statistics and report to functional head of IT
*Act as Project manager/prioritizing the allocation of tasks in respect of case management development
*Act as Project manager/liaison for other projects identified in the firm’s IT strategy
*The Service Delivery Manager will work closely with all teams in the firm to understand needs and deliver projects effectively
*Work as a team with the functional head of IT, ITMG and departmental functional heads
*Consult across all ranges of IT users about future projects
*Develop strong relationships with third-party IT suppliers

Key Skills required for the Service Delivery Manager role:

*IT project management experience
*Proven track record of implementing successful IT projects
*Knowledge and experience of various IT software packages available to the legal profession and wider business community
*Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
*Experience in negotiating purchase and supply contracts
*Ability to work with outsourced IT suppliers and develop positive relationships
*Ability to work across various departments to ascertain need and implement IT projects
*Determination to provide continuing improvement in IT systems
*Ability to demonstrate effective scoping and implementation of IT projects using appropriate governance procedures, controls and measures

This Service Delivery Manager role is based in Southampton and pays a competitive salary in line with Market Rates.
