Lead Project Manager – Legal – London
My client is a Global Law Firm working on one of the largest and most complex integration programmes any law firm has undergone to date. To allow for expansion in such a crucial point in their growth they have divided up Business Analysis and Project Management into two teams – this position will have overall ownership for team of IT Project Managers across UK, EMEA and Asia.
This would be a perfect opportunity for a very Senior Project Manager or Team Lead looking to take their mentoring and leadership skills to the next level.
** Effectively what they seek is a charismatic, engaging and championing character with previous or current legal or professional services experience within a global organisation.
** You will be expected to have experience in mentoring and manage a small team of Project Managers currently or recently.
** Have demonstrable experience of leading complex IT and (IT related) projects.
** Stakeholder management is going to be absolutely key.
** You will be required to suggest improvements to process, methods and tools for business analysis and be seen as a trusted advisor by the business.
** You will need to understand business requirements and produce business cases and project definitions for appropriate solutions, based on a sound knowledge of the firm’s business, a deep understanding of business processes, and an expert knowledge of the available software/technology.
Key experience required:
• Solid understanding of Agile project management methodologies.
• Experience of delivering £m projects
• Prince2 practitioner; experience of working within a legal role – paralegal, lawyer/solicitor; LLB
