NetDocuments announced today that Dirkzwager, a top 15 Dutch law firm with more than 275 staff members, has selected NetDocuments as its new document management system (DMS).
After extensive evaluation of the DMS market, Dirkzwager determined that NetDocuments is the right approach for today’s DMS requirements of simplicity, mobility and flexibility. “Dirkzwager requires a modern technology platform to support the firm’s high standards of efficiency and client service,” said Jeroen Zweers, Manager IT and Internal Services at Dirkzwager. “Web-based NetDocuments is inherently user friendly and highly mobile.”
Dirkzwager, owner of the site legalknowledgeportal.com, is an innovative firm that constantly seeks to improve, leverage and share its in-depth legal and market knowledge. “Knowledge management and collaboration are key initiatives for Dirkzwager, and NetDocuments’ built-in advanced searching and collaboration capabilities support the firm’s strategic vision of using our knowledge to better serve clients,” Zweers said.
Security and performance are paramount for both Dirkzwager and NetDocuments. All firm data will be encrypted in transit and at rest, and hosted only within secure EU-based ISO 27001 data centres. Dirkzwager will also maintain a local on-premise backup copy of their data.
“We’re delighted about the strong interest in NetDocuments we’re receiving from the Dutch market,” said Matt Duncan, General Manager EMEA for NetDocuments. “It’s clear that Dirkzwager is a very progressive law firm, and we appreciate the opportunity to work with yet another Dutch firm to deliver a modern and simplified approach to DMS.”
