Legal IT Forum back for another year

Undaunted by the Lexis/Butterworths/Axxia foray into legal IT events, Informa's events subsidiary ICBI has just announced details of its 2009 iteration of its Legal IT Forum event. The dates are 14 & 15 October 2009 and the location is the Marriott St Pierre in Bristol. So, not quite a a Little Chef on the M4 but rather a long way from the original style of Gleneagles. Is it just us or does this programme seem a little underwhelming? (And will they serve cheese in the hotel?)

The promo reads…

Was someone tapping their shift key in time to music while they typed up that promo? If so, I'd hazard that the piece started slowly and finished at breakneck speed!

I've NEVER Quite Understood why People use such ODD selections of upper and LOWER case Letters in THEIR ads and Statements – Charles Christian

I fear it is the direct result of a Poor Education, or an Absence of Concentration when grammar was on the Menu. I also don't think modern terms like “iPhone” or “eDisclosure” help very much. But what do iKnow – I'm a Dinosaur.

Also its not in Bristol, in fact its the other side of the river and in an entirely different country.

LOL – you couldn't make this up – bit of a long walk from the railway station then

You'd think the organisers would know better, even if the Marriot web site doesn't:
Heading: St Pierre, A Marriott Hotel & Country Club in Bristol | Offering accommodation, golf, dining, meetings events and weddings
Body: With breathtaking views, 400 acres of picturesque parkland and a stunning 14th century manor, St. Pierre, a Marriott Hotel & Country Club is an idyllic retreat. Our resort, set in the rolling hills of South Wales, features the perfect blend of ancient architecture and modern.
“Wales? Gee, which part of London is that?”
