Our legal firm client are searching for a head of IT services, responsible for managing a global servicedesk/training function for the business. This role will manage a team of 25 people and deliver important global projects across the globe – managing helpdesk and training direct function.
This candidates will be responsible for delivering high level global projects associated with the services team. Occasional travel will be required for this role – 1-2 times a month.
Duties and requirements include:
•Managing a team of 25 people – 12 direct reports
•Helpdesk team leader and manager with report into this person
•Reports into the IT Director – assisting with budgets etc
•Working alongside the head of infrastructure
•Strong motivator and people person
•Ideally legal experience (highly advantageous) – professional services is key
•Managing the global function – need to come from a multisite global function
•It is a new role – due to the high level of projects they have received recently
•Standard working hours = 9am-6pm
•Global travel required – could be once a month, perhaps more or less depending on projects
•Working from home policy in place
