A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for one of the world ‘s most prestigious law firms working in the heart of the City as a Project Management Lead.
This position will lead the Transaction Support team consisting of 40+ staff which comprises of qualified lawyers and paralegals who assist the practice with matter delivery.
Aside from managing, you will be guiding the strategic direction of the team, attending to key stakeholder management and ensuring that they meet financial objectives.
Whilst managing projects, provide consultancy, advice and assistance
**This will be UK based, but providing global advice, support and specialist project management skills**
Service Delivery Duties
Effectively manage own team, including reporting, process implementation and career development activities
Ensure that there is adequate Project management, supervision and participation in projects/tasks, from inception to completion, often working on simultaneous projects / tasks
Ensure Senior Manager is made aware of all tasks/projects and the approach to delivery is discussed and confirmed with them
Fluctuating headcount responsibility of approximately 40 (this may grow with time)
Recruitment of paralegals, support lawyers and project leaders, developing and retaining talent
Develop team within their capability and ambition in line with the firm’s needs and in accordance with company policy
Monitor team performance, conduct appraisal process, actively seek and act on feedback
Encourage team to be innovative and to initiate ideas and suggestions.

Legal academic background (qualified lawyer 2:1 or better)
Previous Stakeholder engagement experience
Understanding of Transaction
Understanding of how a law firm operates.
